TX650 Speedo pull down.1973.

Dismantling my speedo, already done the Tacho. has anyone actually got a photo of the trip meter shaft undone? I'm told it is a lefthand thread?? need to remove this in order to get the chrome surround off for rechroming.

OK just worked it out. the shaft stays in place, the chrome cover comes off over the front of the speedo not to the back as you would think.
