Then split the cases, again to pop in the output shaft. Got the chain looped through just to check alignment and begin on the rear spacers. Looks like I'll need a 126 link chain :)

A little more done today. I finally got all the spacers machined and the wheels trued. Popped over to the tyre fitters this morning and got the new tyres on the rims. Fitted them onto the bike and lay a new aluminium fender on the back wheel to get a feel for how it'll look.

Also got the side stand sorted out. I cut of all the bits and bobs from the stock one and made a neat little locator and welded that on, finished with a machined aluminium tip.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the comments. I think next steps are to get the engine cases out for blasting. I can then build the engine and get it back in the frame, ready for test firing. That, along with brake lines, carbs etc then wiring.

Still need a colour scheme too :)

That's looking fasssst just sitting there

Colour scheme, tricky one. Depends whether your going old school or blingy eh :umm:

So the engine cases are going to get blasted and coated silver, like the last couple of builds. I'm actually contemplating chroming the clutch and alternator covers ;)
