Hey Carbon, I am keeping the Cafe but I fancy doing a Cafe build using a Harley motor, we'll see ......
Good to here John! Keep in touch my friend!
Hi Paul
Beautiful bike...well done. I am planning to mount 1980 XS650 front wheel on 2003 Yamaha R6. Can you please post a picture of your front hub with spacers and rotors? I am not machinist myself so is there a good place to get custom wheel and rotors spacers?
As for the spacers and bearings, you will need to measure up and machine those. However any machine shop will be able to do that - or you could have a bash yourself.
If my memory serves me right 6mm or 1/4"
However, this will very much depend on individual builds, so I'd suggest getting yours mocked up a measure away.
Question for you, what size are the bearings in the front wheel?
I've gotten to the point where i need to fit my original XS mag wheel, and I'm struggling to find a bearing to suit, no one seems to produce a bearing of these dimensions,
OD 47mm, ID 22mm, width 14mm.
Looks like I may be out of luck.
