I need to unground my stator on my 1973 tx650. I posted in xs650 groups on Facebook asking what size nylon screws I needed and I got a ton of people saying these are the screws I need:
M3 x 10mm Black Nylon Round Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws

Once I got them I realized they are far too small, they just slide in.
Does anyone know the exact size of nylon screws I need? and if possible could you link me to where to buy them online.

Also, I am following this wiring diagram, and I want to scrap the original seperate reg and rec and change it with a reg/rec combo which I have.
On the diagram however, there are 7 wires and my reg/rec combo only has 5.
Can anyone show me a thread that might enlighten me on how to connect this thing?

Should find some info in here:

Your 5-wire rec/reg sounds like the kind used for PMAs, different system...
That thread helped me out a ton, Thank you 2M! I just searched ebay and google and I coudn't find any links to a M4x0.7-12mm nylon screw. Do you by chance know a website to snag these from?
As for the rec/reg, thats sucky news. I'll be on the hunt for a 7 wire one now.
