Well I finally started my project....

Been gone for awhile working on other projects Hot Rod Power Tour car and Drag Week car... Got to go on the Power Tour but we didn't make Drag Week just could get the engine temps on that big ol' 632 inch engine down to where we wanted them and ran out of time.. We got it figured out. So we'll wait till next year... Sux to because that '66 Impala was looking damn good...

I have riding the crap outta my scooter. Still have yet to fix the starter and today she died a couple times on me on the way home... Looks like the battery is toast.. well at least it lasted about 6 months..... Charging system is working. I think the thing is shorting out or something it will sit there and idle for a few minutes then die when I come to a stop..... Crazy.... Battery shows 11.4 volts but soon as you turn on the head light or push the horn button it drops to about 2 volts....

 

Compact exhaust...... lol. the only thing that makes it compact is that there isn't much room for 2-3/8" primary tubes with 5" collector muffles on anything....... Car does sound good it's a good friend's car.... He said we are partners but I just fabricate and turn wrenches on it.... N/A it makes almost 1100 hp. I think it dyno'd 1089 hp or something like that and it made like 1470 something hp with a 200 hp tune in the Nitrous system single stage.... Not to shabby.

Got me a batty ordered today will most likely be here Monday. I got it from are local Interstate Battery store.. May it will last longer that a few months...I got the AGM style Guy told me how it does and he would take care of me on it... They advertise with the radio group my wife works for..... I was hoping to ride tomorrow while it cool dang it! oh wait just one minute my 4-wheel has the same battery me thinks!

 

The battery I just had was also a AGM battery, but it was a cheap one.. I think it was like $38 shipped...... As far as the car, my buddy wants me to drive it at the track since I'm lighter than he is.... I'm not so sure I want to... It's a little more than I'm used to... My '65 only makes about 560 ish hp. I told him that would be something I would have to work up to... My wife wasn't to trilled about the offer either... As far as shopping,, have fun! lol.

 

Got my new battery on.. We will see how long this one will make it....

 

they all got to go sometime! . My bike wasn't a survivor, it had to many parts from an earlier model.. Somebody had probably laid it down and robbed some parts from a donor bike they had lying around..... I'm not afraid to cut stuff up.. I cut up nice old cars all the time... It don't bother me because they not mine. Lol.

 

Took the ole' girl for about a 50 mile ride today on the ridge today and the weather was great, 77*.... I did get drilled in forehead a few times by some kinda insects didn't break the skin but came mighty close, little bastards! lol.

 

Yeah those stupid tree rats... they usually start across the road then change their mind about 4 times which way to go....

 

Brought home some scrap components from work and use them for fastener storage... I got 3 boxes of fasteners that were going to be scraped, most of which is stainless... I been wanting to get these things sorted for about year.... I got about 1 of the 3 boxes done and done for the day....

 

Yes I do! If I never use them I can always sell them for scrap. Stainless brings pretty good money. I think there is about 300 lbs of it..
