My mufflers fell apart, and i need to find a replacement.

I am interested in 3 options all sourced from MikesXS/XS650direct.

1. Ascot Exhaust - http://www.xs650direct.com/products-43.html#07-0751
2. 2-1 XS Performance Exhaust - http://www.xs650direct.com/products-44.html#07-0767
3. Stock Headers with Megaphone Mufflers - http://www.xs650direct.com/products-44.html#07-0112

How do each of these sound?
I've heard
, and it sounds alright, but how's it sound while riding?

What Pros and cons are there?
I guess the ascot setup makes sharp right turns not as easy, since they can drag.
What about the 2 into 1?

What performance gains can be expected?
I'm running a pamco setup with green coil, with xs performance intake filters, and stock carbs.
I've heard the 2 into 1 provides better power delivery.

any info, videos, pics, would be helpful.

one of my 3 vids of my XS with Triumph T120 'teardrop' silencers fitted..Cant beat 'em for price , sound & performance!!

Theyre welded in.
Do what I do - ram a long steel spike (at least 1" diameter)straight through them to open them up, It'll sound much better!

3/4 inch water pipe works too. That what I used on my 75 mufflers. They get louder, but not to loud.

Viper, I have run both the Ascot pipes & the 2-1 set-up with the taper tip mufflers. Yes, I did drag the Ascot's. No, I don't drag the 2-1 at all. Course, I am dragging the foot peg's now. They sound pretty good, not too loud, & you can slide home at 3 A.M. without waking all your neighbors. Gordon Scott does make an excellent set for a reasonable price, but for budget minded people, the 2-1 was a good deal. The chrome on Mike's pipe's is thin, to say the least, but a little color is character, I feel.:bike:
