Hey Richard, That's a C clamp and an old socket I cut the side out of.

I'm working on my first cafe build. I've been wanting to do one forever and finally get to after I pickd up an 80 special in running condition. She's stripped down amd getting ready for cleaning. I'm also working on the tank (knee indentions). The good news is that I just finished up a 1990 ZX-10 so I have something to ride in case we get a warm day.

Btw, id like to paint the engine while its basically intact. Do you recommnd any particular type of blasting/cleaning for paint prep over another?

I use pvc and it works great too. Much easier to cut btw.
