What have I got 2? Help

Okay. I have a XS650. It is titled as a 1971. The VIN tag on the bike and the title is
S650-009344. The frame number is also S650-009344. The VIN tag says it was manufactured in January 1970. Can anyone tell me where to find the motor number? According to the VIN number chart that number makes it a XS1B (starting with 007101) but if it was manufactured in January 1970 it should be a XS1. Can anyone shed any light on the subject?

on the cases behind the front motor mount, manufactured in 70 but still a 71 it's like cars built a year ahead

Many thanks! The frame and engine numbers do match and it was manufactured in October 1970 not January. So it is a 71 XS1B.
