What kind of frame is this?

I have seen tons of xs650 hardtail frames but I have never seen one with the rear end like mine. Bike is really all from the seventies to very early eighties.




The frame comes together well before the axle plates creating a strange angle.

Hey chopit25, welcome to the forum.

One trick to hardtailing back in the `70s was to use the existing swingarm, lengthen it, and attach it to the frame, easiest to join it to the centerstand. If the builder/welder/owner couldn't or didn't want to notch the tubes to fit over the axle plate, then you ended up with what you see here. They are ten inches longer than I want. I pushed them up to get the stance I want and do some measuring. Lol
