What length SS brake line for euro handlebars?

Hi All,

I will be replacing my stock bars with either the CB400f handle bars or some euro/supersport bars. I am also replacing the M/C and putting new SS lines in. If i go single line route how long should I get (custom length) with the CB400F or Euro bars?

Stock Handlebar dimensions (via mikesxs)
Width - 27 3/4", Rise - 5 1/2", Pullback - 10 1/2".

The CB400F bars have the following characteristics
Rise = 1-3/4", Pullback = 4", Center = 4-5/8", Width:27-1/3

Euro Bars
Width 30" - Rise 2 1/2" - Pullback 5 1/2" x 7/8"Dia

The best thing you can do for a custom application is measure it. Get some house wiring and pull one of the solid copper strands out. Make it about 4' long. You can bend and route this and it will hold it's shape. Wrap one end around the MC banjo bolt and route it down to the caliper the way you want it. Mark the caliper end. Pull it off, stretch it straight again, and measure it.

so i was thinking of going with slingshot cycles, and they only have 36 and 38. Which way would you go?

38, just my opinion. Better to have a little longer service loop than to come up short somehow.
