What size screws?

My alternator cover fell of on a ride. Got a new one, but I need the screws. Anyone know what size and pitch?

I believe 6mm x 1.0 mm

If you mean the round cover that says "Yamaha" on it and covers the alternator & rotor, the two screws are a standard M5 x 10mm long. But, this is one of the spots Yamaha cheaped out. The screws aren't long enough to engage all the threads available. Replace them with longer 12 or 14mm screws .....

But, there is enuff room for a few more threads...
