What spark plugs with Powerdynamo ignition?

What plugs should I be running in my 78 xs650 with the Powerdynamo ignition? Currently I am running NGK b8es plugs. And according to the booklet I received with the new ignition I cannot run plugs with a resistor. Also the gap is currently at .025. Should I be running something different? Also should the gap be larger? Would the wrong plugs cause the engine to run on the rich side? Any and all feedback would be a huge help. Thanks

the right plugs are bp7es....gap is dependant on coil voltage. and i would run resistor caps instead of resistor plugs.

By resistor caps do you mean the actual boots on the plug wires? If so who makes the best ones?

provided your supposed to use any resistance at all with that iggy....ngk makes resistor plug boots.

Put the correct plugs in....I set the gap @ .035 Idle is amazing! throttle response is awesome and my rich situation is nearly gone. Not sure why the guy who built my engine told me to run those b8es plugs. Thanks
