So I guess 42mpg in town (250 lb rider) might be a little low for my 81 HS? My local Kroger station is the only one in the area that doesn't have an Ethanol warning sticker on their pumps... and I run 91-93 octane only.

Actually E85 is 85% ethanol and 15% gas. E10 is the new "standard" 10% ethanol crap they give us these days.--Robhall

I don't do much around town riding. I live out in the boonies and stay away from the big town with more than one traffic light.
Your milage my be good for your style of riding. Get out of town and cruise at 55-60 mph and check your mpgs.

I found a place near my work that sells Sunoco 100 Unleaded and 112 Leaded. I'm going to stop by just to see how much they cost, and if the 100 unleaded has ethanol or not.
