I'm finishing up my restoration on my 77 and bought some commandos from MikesXS. Whats the best way to install these things? They gave me a bracket and some nuts but there's no clamp to fit around the exhaust and front pipe. Do I have to bend the bracket to fit? Has anyone else have the same exhaust? Any photo's?[/IMG]

I prefer a C-130 to install my Commandos! I saw some discussion of this and buying a "P" clamp to make it happen. Since those pipes are universals, you pretty much have to make them fit. I usually see them with a p clamp at the junction, and a strap going from the hanger loops on the frame angled back to meet the brackets that are welded onto the muffler body.
Have a look at this thread:

I ordered the kit for the Standards. I think I need more stuff like a couple of 1.5" clamps and some offset brackets. Otherwise, it looks great.
