wheel question

Hey guys,

I have a 1981 or 82 Heritage.... Im not a fan of all the spokes theres a million, its over kill. If I were to buy a black wheel off of Mikes XS that had less spoke holes, could I reuse my original hub?
I just want a black wheel and black spokes but not the 48 spokes or what ever it is. Less is more. I dont want to spraypaint the wheels I have, but cant afford to buy all new parts.

Im lost if you cant tell!

No. The wheels you have a re 64/48 spoke hubs, the earlier hubs are 36 hole

You can swap your wheels for the earlier 36 spoke wheels. The 79 I think it was used a 16 inch rear wheel, the earlier used an 18 inch rear.
