Eh, terminology used in different areas. I grew up in Oklahoma. I heard that used to describe engines that would spin on the starter, but not actually start. Why it was said that way, I don't know.
I thought the lakes in Oklahoma "turned over".

I'm "that guy" who can't stand stuff like that and tend to annoy people I think ....
Yesterday my 6 year old daughter got stuck listening to a 5-minute explanation from me because she referred to a truck as a "Jeep". Le'ts just say she'll probably never do that again.
When people pull their "e-brake" i ask what the emergency is ...

Years ago my wife handed a roll of toilet paper to our then 2 year old daughter and said put this in the toilet - so she did!
