I run a handshift bike w a foot clutch.
Front wheel isn't technically a spool, just an XS stock hub w factory rotor covers on both sides.

How do you like it with the foot clutch and no front brake? Is stopping.on.hills an issue??

Not really man, the bike is light so you can hold it pretty easily on hills. On steep long lights I'll plant my right foot and let the bike roll back until I can hold it in place by the mid, if that makes sense. Drum brake works fine, 60% of your braking distance comes from engine braking anyway when you're not running a front brake.
I love this bike. It always just works, lots more riding then wrenching.
