Changed the bars on my 81xs650 and I accidentally broke the wire connector on the clutch perch. I'm trying to find a new connector so I can replace it, but I do not know what it's called to look for a replacement.
I'm not talking about the Clutch cable. There are two wires in a little round connector that I'm wondering about

Welcome to the forum.
That switch is a clutch switch. It is used with a starter cut relay. It was used so if in gear you had to pull the clutch to use the starter.
On the 81 I have a PO deleted the switch and wires. Down in the headlight bucket is where it plugs in. I don't recall if they got a jumper wire or just unplugged.
Now if I wanted to find a replacement I might go through the parts fiches at a place like boats.net They list it as available, $10.60 part number 3Y6-82917-00-00
You might even get one from a dealer.

Awesome Thank you. Maybe I'll just delete it as well. I'll mostly be kick starting the bike anyway, which I believe it can only be in neutral for. Thanks for the welcome.
