WTF did I do now? The Ersatz Indian

How is this going end?

  • Sold before you even touch it

  • sold as soon as it runs

  • Allison is going to claim and ride it.

  • gggG is going to fix it and ride it to the vintage rally in NC

  • This'll be the last straw ggGary'll be (fully) around the bend.

Like, black front end, black headlight, looks old.

Like, alternator/generator conversion, if it was real.

Like, seat, if it was black and level, can't have enough fringe.

Like, fender stays, should be black.

Like, 2M, I like long fringe on brake and clutch levers, but not on grips.

Like, that white panel painted on the tank.

Like, it sure takes a good picture.

Dislike, Those pipes are just too goofy.

Dislike, that side cover just jumps out at you.

Dislike, mono shock, that bike should be a hard tail.

Dislike, forward controls.

Dislike, white paint on the nice red fenders.

Dislike, all of the fake hardware.

Gary, if you sell that thing as an assembled motorcycle, running or not, full disclosure or not, your name will be connected with it as PO of record. Doesn't matter that you didn't make the mess, your reputation will still suffer. There is only one thing to do: part it out. Just to be sure you're not implicated in any way in the criminal butchery of that motorcycle, consider paying someone else a commission to ebay the bits and pieces for you.
Bawhahaha ha!

Guy texted me; he'd had enough. Loved it but it broke fast'n he could fix. So into the van it went.

The magic smoke leaving was the last straw. It's going to be interesting.
The builder's creative spirit is undeniable.
Perhaps it is best categorized as an Art Bike.
I've got a spot for it in my front lawn.

Oh crap, replaced the fuse box with a radio shack unit I had laying around, unwrapped the tape mess up front but changed NOTHING.
Stupid thing started second kick, Runs great, and it's even quiet through those sporty muffs.
Guess what that means??
Yup, I gotta RIDE it, :yikes::yikes: gulp.....
