XS-2 oil pump installation

I took my oil pump and tach drive out of my right side case to polish my case. I put it back together last week so it would be on when I installed my engine in the frame. I saw some pictures today that shows some arrows on the pump. I looked in my service manual and there is no reference to these in the assembly description. Do they have to be set a certain way during assembly?

Arrows need align for the 2 pieces to go back in the hole properly and line up on the drive shaft. Don’t forget the little pin that drives the inner rotor!

Justa FYI. The arrows need to be on the same side, but not necessarily lined-up. During rotation, you'll find that they'll mis-align 4 out of 5 turns...
