xs switching to one petcock ?

I'am changing my tank over to run just one petcock .What can I use for a gasket .
I machined a plate to cover the 2nd hole with ?

Permatex ????

I would make a suitable gasket out of dedicated gasket material, and refrain from using a chemical gasket. The PO of my bike used the latter to try to get incorrect petcocks to work, and the result was a big mess that yours truly had to clean up.

I getting real close .
Finished up my painting awhile ago .
Forks look better . Well at least I think they do.
If no work ( weather for us flat roofers ) tomorrow . Front end goes back on along with carb set up . May even have time to do a Fast wire job.
Did but on a 2 into 1 exhaust . Posted pics of it .

neither, it is vacuum actuated, so "on" is "off"

I got an off position marked on my petcock and it is diff from the on???

Mine is a 74. I was told I had to turn it off as if she stood to long she has been known to flood.
