New to the forum, In 1997 I bought a XS2 with 7K miles on it out of a barn in Iowa, brought it home to NJ, I had already owned a 1977 D model (maroon). Anyway I ended up selling both bikes around 10 years ago and have had my regrets about it since.
I was lucky enough to find an XS2 with 8K on the clock 10 miles from my home last week, the bike is 100% original, has some rust at rear shocks, but it is a very nice original find so close to home.
My question is it is not charging, tomorrow I will check stator for ohm spec and output ACV, R/R and any possible wiring problems. I found some wiring diagrams on this site but I am looking for the wiring diagram for this year, or is the wiring the same throughout years? I was also wondering if their is a service manual PDF here, tried search but didn't find it. I read the thread about the radio shack rectifier and the chrysler reg upgrade if I find them bad.
