xs2 won't shift down into 1st

I recall reading a post describing this problem and how to fix it. But now i can't seem to find it by searching.

My bike shifts fine up and down but from neutral, won't seem to go back into 1st unless i 'bounce' my foot on the shift shaft or come back up into 2nd then go all the way down into 1st.

I recall it being something about the 5 star wheel or something like that?

Back off the clutch free play at the lever perch, then do a re-adjustment down on the left side at the clutch worm gear. Finally correct the adjustment at the lever, back to normal.
