Thank you, since it’s warm now I’m finally getting around to tackling this. If I were to replace the black wire that goes to the rectifier what gauge would I need to make sure it’s all good. I believe that one is the only one that isn’t usable still.

I had a gas leak and jump started my bike the other day, these wires connected to this ground plate lit up on fire. They seems fried but I need help identifying them. I think I can just replace the ground wires and snip the other ones and get new connectors.

Got it started , running pretty good! I guess the rotor was installed so the original TDC mark was not accurate, found that someone had markered in the true lines of TDC and fire at about 2 o’clock position and now the timing is locked in , fired right up after a few kicks. Rode it around and it...
Cleaned the carbs out, new condenser installed. Trying to start again no luck, still just misfiring out of left cylinder every few kicks. Going to replace the fuses according to the manual, one seems a bit burnt.
Could a small air leak somewhere cause this not to start and just misfire...
