Yes sir, dumped that oil and gas mix and put fresh oil, ran it for a bit, then dumped that and put fresh oil again.. Just to be safe. OK, so sump is just the bottom of the motor, oil and all that fun stuff.. Thanks man, I learn fast, but here's where its happening !:eek: Also, petcocks...

It runs on gravity. That's what I had forgotten and wanted to ask, what's up with the vacuum barbs? Mine are plugged, with the little black nipples. Why did the PO do this vs vacuum? Can someone school me? Otherwise I can Google it but since I'm here.... Posted via Mobile

Here goes stupid question number two...What is a sump?

Must be gravity fed, and I had to take off the fuel filter because it wasnt letting enough fuel through? See my last post about the barbs, thats why i know its gravity fed...but i dont know much else?

One more thing while I have the pros here...So the carbs have the barbs on them..but theyre just blocked off with a little rubber cap? That cap comes off and its fuckin high rev city, things whalin? Now I get that that would be basically an air leak, but can someone explain why my carbs are...

Thank you very much, the carbs are off and I was just awaiting a response before I attacked it. The float valve makes perfect sense. I'm hoping a cleaning will do the trick

Is there any other questions I should be asking? Seems a few people have read this thread but no answers? I want to go ride right now,but Dont want to risk putting more gas in until I know what the problem is. Thanks in advance
