I simply wanted the opportunity to go big-bore or get replacement pistons and rings cheaply and easily. The cam is fine along with the tensioner but a new chain will be required. In the end I didn't see the benfit of having to change so much of the engine to 447 parts when just chaging the rods...

Johann, Joe got back to me and he reckons his bracing fouls the passenger peg mounts but I don't see how. If the bracing is no wider than the swinger it shouldn't touch. I'm going to weld up my own bracing and see what the deal is. I'll post up some pictures when I get round to it if you...

Hey Jdizon, The bike is looking really sharp, I'm digging the style. I've been considering the Wiseguy swingarm kit for my XS but was wondering why he suggests the rear peg mounts need to be cut off? Is the bracing wider than the swinger? Otherwise how would it hit the peg mounts? Any info...
