I had a previous had a previous thread started about a weird "clicking". I got my pamco in and it running and it's still there. We've tried cam chai adjustment and made sure by pulling the advance unit it wasn't off but still no idea. It's an 83. No rephrase or Anthony different.

I'll give that a check. The timing is most definitely off we haven't set it yet, but that knock you can hear when your trying to kick it over with the ignition off.

Just got the bike to start after 7 months of fiddling... Soon after starting I realized there's a weird knocking. Any ideas what it may be? You can really hear it towards the end of the video.

I bought it with a boyer in there and the owner said that the ignition needed to be replaced. I didn't test it because the bike needed carb work amongst other things and just bought a new pamco amongst the other parts and converted it to cdi.
