Thanks very much for your photo and knowledge! It's my first bike in 22 yrs I had loads when I was younger new, big, small and classic etc. I'm surprised by how powerful it is but I can't say I feel confident with the handling though, but I've only ridden it a few miles so far. 22k miles...

Hi, I have just bought an xs650 77' has 35mm stanchions. I have noticed the stanchions protrude about 7 mm above the top yolk. Is this correct? Should they be level. Photo attached. I'm 6ft 3 so probably would prefer the bike to be higher. Any thoughts appreciated Daniel
