Born 1955 (so I'm old). Lived and worked in the North East for 35 years. So although I'm originally a Brummie I consider myself an honorary "Geordie". I worked doing project planning for Marconi Radar, then in IT for most of my life. In 2003 I started teaching IT evening classes and somehow became a full-time lecturer. Now I work as a trade union organiser for a UK educational union.

Update - retired November 2021. It's brilliant.

1975 XS650B - Bought ages ago, ridden sparingly for five years, put away in the garage. Woken up with help from this forum 2020 during lockdown. No air box - pod filters, EX500 carbs and Boyer Bransden electronic ignition fitted by me, Motad two into one. Pretty much stock that apart.
