    thanks for your response i found out after getting the 650 that the tx 500 frame is much weaker than the 650's

    was just wondering if any one could help me with some info...i have a 74 tx 500 with bad motor (cracked head, picked it up cheap and it looks excellent and is currently registered) and i am picking up a xs 650 special cheap from a buddy.. does anyone know how much hassle i'd be looking at...
