I get a new battery today 12 volt 7amp. I am now producing 14.5 volts steady through out the RPM range. Again thanks for the help.:thumbsup:

Is there any reason why voltage is ok on the car battery and high on the .8 amp battery? FYI voltage tests were done with all lights off.

I am getting voltage spikes over 14.5 highest I read was 15 volts. And the regulator is in the stock location.

Please help need to rebuild them for a new build i started. i purchased an 81 xs650 in boxes not sure if these carbs came off it. Is there a number somewhere on them or how do i tell what model they are? Thanks MIKUNI???
