Bought my 78 XS650SE in 1982 with 2200 miles for 1200 clams from Kathy Hixson (hi Kathy!). Mods: 65 watt Halogen headlight, steel brake lines (F&R), O-ring chain, 17 x 36 sprockets, easy cleaning fork gaiters, synthetic fork oil, custom seat reshape and upholstery. OEM case guards and foot pads, 79 tail light lens and 80 Special luggage bar. 40kv coils, custom coil mounts and red 8mm wires. Have 2 parts 650s (79 and 82) as backup. First bike was a 72 Yamaha 350 R5C (2 stroke).
