Great article. What size clear tubing are you using to bleed nipple? 3/16?
Also, what fluid are you submerging the lower end of the tube in? Is it the fluid you've already drained, or a fresh pool?
Thanks!
Eric.
Hi,
I'm currently deciding between 2'' and 3'' drop. What's the loss in performance/comfort/ability? I'm worried if I go 3'' I'll regret it while riding. Thoughts?
Hey Ironhead,
Yeah, I'm leaning towards powder coating or sanding and spray painting, but thought I'd give it a shot. Those covers look about right; how much?
Hi,
I'm looking for a number of parts in matte black for my XS650. If you have them in standard black, I may also be interested. Here goes:
tach and/or speedo (preferably 2.25'' at largest)
handlebars (super bike style)
spoke wheels (1 19'' and 1 18'')
side covers (for a 1980 XS650)...
I have a 1980 XS and am looking to sharpen the edges a little, so I'm looking for a 1970 tank. Condition and color matter less as I will probably re-finish in matte black, regardless. Let me know if you have one and we can e-mail about price/shipping.
