I have not heard of this on the 8th generation LeSabres...and am not so sure it is as common as you say it is...I have been on a very informative FB page about this car.. Cannot say with certainty though that this is commono or uncommon...to date i have not heard or read anything about this...

I got tired of 4 Hondas cars that all burned me...although the 4 Honda motorcycles were dead nuts reliable...But I decided to get the best engine ever made by GM...the 3800 Series 2 V6... 2004 Buick LeSabre Custom with 110K miles ..a cream puff...very practical and dead nuts reliable...and easy...

I had a mild concusion and awful vertigo for several days afterwards...don't want to imagine how much worse it could have been..I almost went out the door with a half helmet..and decided at the last minute to wear the HJC...

I had a HJC SYMax 2 modular helmet for 9 yrs...back in 2017 I was wearing when I t-boned a lady that pulled out in front of me..I was riding my beautiful 1979XS1100...luckily the bike impacted her jeep and not me..I flew 50ft. and landed on the back of my head/neck/shoulders...my 9 yr old HJC...

I have neck issues so a full face helmet or a modular are heavier than this open face 3/4 helmet..It works as well as my full face Shoei....

Bought this 3/4 HJC i30 last year..the outer shield does an excellent job of keeping the air off your face..and does equally well in the rain..Also has a internal drop down sun visor..it weighs 3/4s of a pound lighter than my full face Shoei...It works well all.year round and there are no issues...

75° here no pics too busy riding the scootah..warm n windy but no insulating liners needed.

60* here but overcast expecting some rain tonight...We're not getting that cold spell thats dropping down into the deep south next week...we'll be in the upper 40s to low 50s...Alot more rian so far this winter than last year..
