I'd like to make a trip northward, as long as my back, knees and ass will handle it. This is just the kind of thing I need to get me motivated to finish my bike. My biggest problems are time, money and motivation, not necessarily in that order.

Good to see some XS lovers from the "Homeland", my brother lives in Grand Rapids, what part of the city are you from? Glad to see some of our friends from the west side of the state, (Muskegon & Grand Haven). Spent alot of time over in your neck of the woods, taking the rail over to Silver...

For Sale - swingarm off a '74 TX 650, cheap to a good home

I have a swingarm off a '74 TX 650, it would probably fit other years, I can't see much of a difference between it and the other years. Will sell it cheap and ship for just the shipping costs, no inflated shipping like on ebay.

    Make Offer - 1974 TX650 Parting Out

I am looking for a fork cylinder for a '74 TX 650. I don't know if you know what that is, but it's a shaft about 6" long with a barrel on the end. If you happen to have one, I'd be interested to see how much you would want for it. If you still don't know what it is, even after my very inaccurate...

The 80's style XS's look good in the stock models, mine has an ugly-ass brown tank and the crappy looking seat. I couldn't have one of the older ones and keep it bone stock, it's what you would call the birth-control motorcycle. My youngest is in the p.m. session, and I rarely get to pick...

That's crazy, my oldest is in the 1st grade, my youngest is in the 4 year old program at Sanford El. I have a brown F-150 and a burgundy Ford Freestyle. I'll make it easy to recognize me, I'm gonna be investing in a license plate with something on it about th 650's (650 bobbers rule) or some...

Yeah, chances are probably pretty good. Both my boys go to school at Meridian, my wife graduated from Meridian and both my boys play ball in Sanford.

Yeah, it would seem, I'm waiting to post pics until my bike resembles a bike. I have parts up the wazoo, they just aren't connected to anything right now. It won't be long though, I'll be posting some, how bout you?

Wanted - looking for fork parts for a '74 TX 650

Hello to all my 650 loving friends. I'm looking for the front fork cylinder. I tore the damn thing apart and of course when I'm reay to put the forks back together, I can't find all the necessary parts to complete the task. If anyone has or knows where I can find such an item, I'd really...

looking for helpful hints for prepping engine for paint

That looks badass, if my engine would turn out that good, I wouldn't even want to paint it. Did you have it all torn apart, in order to get it looking that good, or was already assembled? The problem I have is that my engine has already been put back together, I really don't want to have to tear...

looking for helpful hints for prepping engine for paint

Howdy to all my XS loving friends. I am in the process of a bobber build, and would like to know if there is any special prep work that should go into painting an engine. I didn't even want to paint the engine, but the jug and head look like crap. I bought the 1200 degree ceramic paint, and just...

You wouldn't happen to have fork tubes that aren't all rusted, where the headlight bucket side brackets usually sit. I have a set, but once I slid the healight tubes off, they were covered with rust underneath. Thanks, Marc
