    For Sale - Desert Sled

Simple build. Forks and wheel came off of a Honda MT 125 Elsinore. Same diameter as the stock triple tree and they slid right in. I added extra springs and heavier fork oil to help with the heavier bike it was now dampening. I restore BMW Airheads and the valve springs on the heads were exactly...

Going to the Death Valley rally today

Most of the miles we rode were off road. There are two places for gas in Death Valley, Stove Pipe, and Furnace Creek. We have been riding in this area since the early 1990’s. We go there at least twice a year.

    Wanted - Xs650 dirt bike/dual sport

Before I build one, I thought to post here and see if anyone has one for sale. Street legal would be preferred but I’m open to all ideas. Just want a 21” spoke longer fork travel up front and 18” spoke longer dual shock at the rear. Something like this platform pictured above. Thanks!

Flogging the 1971 Desert Rat. Oozing oil everywhere and blew a fork seal flying through deep sand and wash boards.
