The last one, the branding iron i presume...:laugh:, is, of course, Zündapp! I had one when I was 16, a 1974 CS 50. It was my first motorized vehice in 1989, a 50cc 2-stroke! Like this one....
After installing your new guides, I am pretty sure they require reaming. Like jd750ace already mentioned, do it by hand with a tap handle. You have more feel that way. It's pretty easy. And indeed, dont turn your reamer backwards!

A rat bike is great for an everyday rider. People dont steal these when you park it in front of the pub and leave it there overnight when you end up drunk:D And who the f#%@ is Harley Davidson :confused:
:D Great story! Are your filters still soaked with gas? If so, then your mixture is way too rich. I've been there, had a cracked inline filter leaking over my airfilter. It was very hard to start.
