Yep still has a battery. I have a bluetooth helmet thing, I use google maps on my phone but that always puts me on the interstate. But yes, the charger sounds essential. And a rainproof place for the phone while it's charging. I may chicken out and store it in Milwaukee til I can truck it...

My bike was losing power and mis-firing around 5000-6000 RPMS. Added a full can of Seafoam to 3/4 of a tank of gas and the problem was pretty much gone after 15 miles of highway riding. $11 well spent.

Hmm, what part of Jersey are you in? I'm Brooklyn and I do need a battery but would rather come pick it up if possible.

Deadchef, Sounds like you did what I need to do. Can you point me towards the correct diagram? I have a 1980 Special II (XS650G), Mikes PMA w Pamco and E advancer. Still isn't charging like it should so I want to clean it up. Thanks!
