THey're super easy to kickstart too once you get 'em running right. The hot spark stuff does wonders.

I've got a 120 on the bike and it handles good; the roadrace guys actually run a 130 rear/110 front on 1/2" wider than stock 18" rims f/r. 120 out back on a stock rim is fine.

I'm having trouble justifying the big money for aftermarket rearsets. Wondering if, perhaps, by some freak of engineering/luck a stock set from another bike fits. Or is close enough to fab up a couple adapter plates for. FZR? CBR? Thruxton? Gotta be something out there on ebay that's close...

Yep what bluebiker said, mixing a little in with 93 will generally clean up throttle response and the bike will run slightly cooler. When I built my last race bike (modern GSX-R750) I ran it in on the dyno and tested power and temp with 93, Sunoco 100 (most race tracks have pumps), and VP U4...
