Yeah I'm using a PMA setup. It was 14 volts around 3000rpm. I've got some tinkering to do to make sure something isn't shorting as well because I was running that headlight for a while with no issues.
While I had it running for those couple minutes I tested all my other switches and such. Only...
Went for a ride through the local rural back roads. Got home and shut off the bike. Went to start it again and all my electrics were dead. I may have left it on for 10 minutes with the engine off. I suspect the 60watt bulb I threw in drained the battery dead.
And it's dead dead....under 10...
Changed my oil to some 20w-50 and put a 34 tooth on the rear finally.
Noticed some tapping sounds from the top end. Gonna recheck my valves and timing chain today.
A week full of unending thunderstorms.... They're supposed to clear up Thursday and Friday. Just put a pillion on my new fender. Trying to find little projects to keep me busy. At least my garden is happy.

@5twins no problemo that's how I figured out the rpm thing. Read lots of old posts. First time I looked into what gearing was on the thing.

Other than that today I swapped my 38 tooth rear which...
Finally with everything running smooth and a real camera. Memorial Day weekend I went and rode around my old neighborhood. First time I'd been back there in 10 years

Finished reinforcing my rear fender and mounting my tail light on the sissy bar. Also went for my first night ride. Finally ticked over 200 miles since me rebuild. Good start to memorial day weekend.
While I wait for my new rear fender from led sled I figured I'd weld, reinforce and clean up my old one. You guys helped my noob aft end realize it is actually a front fender that's had some extra cable hooks tacked on it.
When I get my new one who wants this?
So last thing I need to do is get a new rear fender. My old one has literally been held in place with zip ties and it's really thin, cracked all over, and rusting away.
My rear tire is a Bridgestone 120/90-16M/C 63P
TW40A (Trail wing 40)
So a 24-25" fender is perfect.
I have no idea where...
I got a HHB top mount but because my frame is homebrew I hade to make and weld on a mount for my HHB mount haha
Came out not too shabby. Time for paint
