I purchased my first bike in 1964 and rode small bikes for commuting up until 1989 when I joined the Ulysses club designed for older riders. I rode a Yamaha XJ900 for eleven years before giving up touring.
I decided to get something just for fun and fell for the XS650 because it looked like a bike should look. After the super reliable Diversion I discovered older bikes need constant attention preferably by someone who knows what they are doing......and that's not me, but I'm sticking with it.
