I just sold two titled but rough looking project XS-650s on facebook for $800 for the pair. One was an 80 with spokes and an 81 with mags and rear drum brake. I bought them 10 years ago and got tired of them taking up space, so I'll let someone else make something out of them.

Sure doesnt on my 350G (first year disc for that model). I've done everything to try to get better feel....wooden.

That had to make that pilot a little weak in the knees when he got back in chocks and took a look at that! :yikes:

If it makes you feel any better, the first year Honda front disc brake on my 1973 Honda CB350G feels like absolute wood compared to my early Yamahas...it really is terrible, despite being 100% rebuilt/refurbished by me. It looks good and is a great idea in theory but it works very, very poorly.

Speaking of old Ford pickups....thats my first vehicle I ever owned, that red/white 59 F-100 in background of this picture. Thats me on the right early in my Air Force career when I came home on leave with my young Son (my Dad on my immediate right).
