    1 Cylinder not firing

no sorry, haven't figured it out yet and as for compression i can't check it because i don't have a tester, i did a finger test with my friend where he put his finger over the hole and i kicked it, he said the side that's not firing felt weaker than the side that is, but its obviously not a...

    1 Cylinder not firing

well what happens is the bike starts and runs, but I have no idea what happens because only the one side (left side) gets hot and the right side stays cold to the touch. If revved up a bit it backfires like crazy, and it was blowing some black smoke on occasion. The spark plugs are good, tested...

    XS650 not running right =(

something else I forgot to mention, when I opened it full throttle and it got to about 4k rpm it just kinda bogged down and lost power, but I'm pretty sure that's a fuel/carb problem

    XS650 not running right =(

well what i meant by floppy is that it just kinda swung there - not sure if there was something wrong with it like teeth not grabbing or slipping, or if there was absolutely no compression

    XS650 not running right =(

not too sure, I'll check that this weekend too.. although I don't think it does, every time I tried to use the electric start it usually didn't have enough power until it had ran for a bit then the electric starter would make it go.

    XS650 not running right =(

Ok, so here's the deal - I bought myself a '75 xs650 last summer, when I first got the bike, it seemed to run okay, but then after the first few days things started to go downhill, if I remember correctly the first thing that went wrong with it was that one of the cylinders wasn't firing for...
