it is getting a spark because i did that test and both plugs are sparking

no sorry, haven't figured it out yet and as for compression i can't check it because i don't have a tester, i did a finger test with my friend where he put his finger over the hole and i kicked it, he said the side that's not firing felt weaker than the side that is, but its obviously not a...

well what happens is the bike starts and runs, but I have no idea what happens because only the one side (left side) gets hot and the right side stays cold to the touch. If revved up a bit it backfires like crazy, and it was blowing some black smoke on occasion. The spark plugs are good, tested...

So apparently i bought a large pile of shit last year :doh:, i already made a thread about it, so i've done some maintenance to it - Changed Oil and filters (sump and secondary) - Rebuilt Carburetors - Changed Air Filters - Changed Fuel Filters - Changed spark plugs, spark plug wires...

something else I forgot to mention, when I opened it full throttle and it got to about 4k rpm it just kinda bogged down and lost power, but I'm pretty sure that's a fuel/carb problem

anyone else have this trouble? I'm trying to change the sump oil filter but I can't get the damn cover off, got the bolts out easily enough but the cover is on there good like. anyone have any advise on how to get it off? I've tried tapping it with a plastic hammer, prying it, and not to mention...

well what i meant by floppy is that it just kinda swung there - not sure if there was something wrong with it like teeth not grabbing or slipping, or if there was absolutely no compression

not too sure, I'll check that this weekend too.. although I don't think it does, every time I tried to use the electric start it usually didn't have enough power until it had ran for a bit then the electric starter would make it go.
