I can usually sneak $200 under the wire, as I pay the bills and she wouldn't know points from electronic ignition. I usually buy crap projects that are cheap and sneak tons of money into them.
I don't mind overpricing on craiglslist, although I want to message some of them what the market will really bear. My pet peeve is overposters with $5 items. They repost every week.ARRRRGh I wish there was a way to spam those guys.

1978 xs650 special. looking for the best way to mount a solo seat. I dont have a drop seat mod and have not hard tailed it.Bought 2" springs. Anyone let me know best way to mount?
Build status 1978 xs 650 rat. I have replaced seat with a small bobber style. wiring is temp to get it on the road for sept rides...Will do wiring, forward controls, ect over the winter.
I know they are new carbs, but cleaning them out may help. At least one should fire though. If you look in the throat, you can see how far the idle is open...
