    Fitting a pair of Keihin FCR38 - help needed for basic settings!

    Thanks for the information, alas these are of the FCR-MX type and do have both a cold start enrichener aka choke and a hot start, let's call it "lean out" lever... I measured the throat of the carbs and they are 37.8mm, I'd say they are of the FCR-MX37 type - comparing to pics and parts...

    Thanks to all for you help. The carbs are actually fitted and I managed to start the bike up once... and never again... The carbs came off new european 450ccm trails bike in the factory, when these needed to be retrofitted with FI to cope with new emission regulations. I'll check later...
