I'm putting an XS1 engine in a customized 78 frame. It seems the hole does not quite line up with the engine. Does anybody make a front motor mount that will fit?
Is the piece of metal that wraps around the back bone of the frame (where it curves down) necessary? It seems any hardtail kits I've seen say to leave it on. I'm doing my own fab work on my frame and would prefer to remove it.
I was given a 1970 XS1 engine. When I went to pick up the engine He had 2 LH engine covers there. One from the 1970 and one from a 1978. By mistake he gave me the cover from the 78. Am I able to use this on my XS1 engine?
