Alright. I know MIG welds aren't as strong at TIG welds, but with a lot of practice could they be close? (for possibly welding up a frame) I'm wanting to weld mostly exhaust and maybe gas tanks (I'll leave the frame work to the pros). Would a MIG welder be suitable for doing this?

I recently fully charged the battery before starting it. I can start the bike and it runs until I drive is around a while. Doesn't the bike charge the battery when it's running? The carbs have the stock jets in them and all the passages are very clean, I just tore them down and cleaned them...

The engine is a 1980 and the carbs are 1979. I replaced the coil with the high output tci replacement from mikesxs. I'm not sure of the voltage at idle and no i haven't tested the diaphrams. I figured if it starts up and runs there wouldn't be a vacuum leak.

The plugs are new and clean. Today when I was riding the bike it started sputtering and died on me and I had to push it home because it wouldn't start.
