The max speed I can get from my 1980 Yamaha XS650 Special is 62-63 mph with the throttle cranked wide open. The cycle runs like a top no sputtering or anything like that. I need to know what adjustment to the carbs should be made to have it run faster on the open highways.:shrug:

I am looking for 2 chrome points covers with the 650 logo on them...if anybody has them or can let me know where I can get them it would be greatly appreciated :):bike:

I just purchased a set of chrome exhaust headers (single wall pipes) from Mikes and *Commando* 26 inch mufflers. I need to know if I will have to rejet the carbs or will I be able to stay with the stock setup ?:shrug:

After removing the old *clear coat* and polishing the aluminum side covers, should I repaint them with new *clear coat* to keep that nice polished look ?:bike:
