I’m looking for a good condition Rotor and Stator for a 1980 XS650 Special. Rotor with magnet and stator with mounting holes for electronic pickup. I believe 80 to 84 are all the same.

80 XS. I was trying to do a main clutch adjustment. I tried to loosen the lock nut at the left side cover. I could feel it was trying to disengage the clutch but nut would not loosen. The clutch is now disengaged all the time and the kick start is not engaged. What did I break?

I recently bought a pair of Progressive 412 shocks for my 80 XS650 Special. Because of the off-set of the bottom eyelet, the shocks mount with the top of the shock tilted inward (equal to the amount of the off-set). Is that a problem?

I know this has been discussed many times before, but one more time please. I have an 80 XS and I want longer shocks on the rear. I'm building a cafe style bike. The original shocks appear to be about 11.5"long. Any suggestions on length and spring rate? Dave
