The picture is my last XS. I sold it then regretted it so much that I built another. Same silencers, VM34 carbs, fram air filters, Heiden tuning electronic ignition. No other real changes, just +.5 rebore and full rebuild of engine. I need to change the avatar picture.

I did think about straightening it out myself but thought I would have a look for a replacement first. I have no knowledge of my XS before I got it so don't know if any of the previous owners have tried straightening it or how badly it has been bent in the past.

Those rebound springs are hard to find I think. Does anyone have one they could measure for me. If I have the important dimensions, length, i/d and o/d, wire thickness, etc, I can get something from a spring supplier on line. Thank you.

Thank guys. I will look out for parts from later forks with springs fitted. Would a higher oil level help to slow down the recoil?
